Are you a Big Shot?
Are you an aspiring film maker? Do you think you have what it takes to be the next Big Shot Film Maker from the Philippines? If you think you’ve got it, check out the SM Cinema project called “Big Shot”.
“Big Shot” was launched last May 5 and aims to “revolutionize the Philippine Film Industry”. During the launch there was a special screening of the indie film “Bakal Boys”.
The contest is open to all aspiring student film makers enrolled in any reputable college or university and runs from June 15 to August 15. Simply submit your best work, be it a short film or a full-length movie and the top three winners will be awarded Php 500,000. They will then also be able to produce a full-length movie about modern day heroism with the help of renowned mentors which will then be shown during SM Cinema’s Indie Film Festival on January 2011, right after the Manila Film Festival.
