I was a former teacher too in the Phils before I moved here and back then I thought the Phils is the worse place to teacher but I was wrong. We may not be well compensated but at least we have the best students in the world. I can't teach here. I'm afraid to teach here because kids [a lot of them] have no respect for us teachers. But I admire them because they make these rocks their stumbling blocks or stepping stones for a more meaningful classroom experience - instead of taking those rocks as hindrance, they take it as an oppurtunity for growth. My respect and admiration to all dedicated teachers, and to you Ma'm Ria! Filipino teachers who inspire are always faced by rocks in the road ahead. But I admire them because they make these rocks their stumbling blocks or stepping stones for a more meaningful classroom experience – instead of taking those rocks as hindrance, they take it as an oppurtunity for growth.
